   our fridge calls for this filter, and it was very easy to install. Had we read the instructions all the way through, we would have realized that we missed a step, so our first glass of water after we installed was icky. but, after we did what the instructions said, it worked great. (go figure!)

   We received this filter and installed it. Within 1 week we thought that our fridge was broken. Water had leaked all over our hardwood floors causing them to warp. We spent $99 having someone come out and inspect the fridge only to tell us that the filter was bad. Save yourself some pain and order this directly from PUR. If you experience the same thing we did Amazon will do nothing but give you a refund for the filter. Not a big help when you are out $99 and have water damage to your floors.
