   We looked long and hard for a new steam iron after the ten year old Procter Silex gave out. After returning a Black & Decker and reading many reviews we still could not decide. Then we caught a review of the T-Fal and figured it was worth a try. The features were all there, the reliability seemed good and best of all the price was right. Then when we were not able to find it in a local store once again Amazon came thru. Delivery was quick, price was great, and we are happy.

   My wife says-I love this iron! It glides easily. The amount of steam is easily adjustable. It is not too heavy. It performs as advertised plus!

   I will recommend it without hesitation.

   I bought this itemT-Fal FV4379 Ultraglide Easycord Nonstick Iron, Red based on the Consumer Reports rating. We have a built in (Hide A Way) ironing board. I should have checked my space, and the Irons dimensions. I could not close the door on my ironing board cabinet because of the extra large heel plate on this Iron. Maybe this will help someone not make the mistake I did. Amozon was great with the return, they refunded the Iron and the shipping, Thanks.

   This Iron is easy to use, it provides sufficient heat to steam ratio, and does a masterful job.
