   Well, this product is produced in Moscow where there is a long history
   
   of security. I always worry that a security program might itself contain
   
   trojans and viruses. But surely not this one.

   In the past I have run SEP and McAfee and still been hit by Zero-day/Zero-hour viruses only to realize that Kaspersky was at least able to detect them. They have a great website that you can actually upload suspected virus files to and they diagnose immediately. (One of the main reasons that I recommend Kaspersky to all my colleagues). I sent the file to Symantec and all I got was a resopnse that they will look into it. It took Symantec 72 hours to post the definitions! Kaspersky had the defs within 4 hours! Now if only I could talk companies that I consult for into using a product that takes pride in their work. I have nothing but praise for Kaspersky especially when they give you a fully functioning version for free for 30 days while you order your licenses!
