   The Hoover Platinum has been a excellent addition to our home. We are in our mid 70s and a light weight, powerful vacuum upright is just what we needed. It only weighs around 16 pounds and is easy to push around.    Hoover is rightfully proud of these beautiful silky clothlike vaccuum bags. Not your normal paper stuff, they are made of a soft quilty material, almost too nice to put inside a vaccuum.

   They hold maybe 30 percent more than the bags from my old Eureka boss, but cost about 3 times as much. They work great, not a hint of pollen or dust escapes into the room. They look great. Just another little luxury that makes me feel more secure about who I am and what American craftmanship stands for.

   These replacement bags came in a timely manner.
   
   This is alot easier than going crazy looking for a store that sells them.

   I thought such a tiny bag would fill up fast and have to be replaced often. Instead, I have been using mine for over six months and it is still going strong and filtering the air beautifully – just like the first day I had it. I use my canister to supplement the Hoover Platinum Lightweight Bagged Upright (LBU), to dust furniture, ceiling vents, floor baseboards, drapes, under deep furniture, and also to vacuum out the underside of the LBU and the interior when I change the bag (though admittedly, that last one I have done only once). Totally worth it!
